A good week for training this week, even though the sides of my quads have been mega tight. Fortunately, my housemate is a trained physiotherapist and does sports massage so she set about helping my aches and pains. Anyone who's had a sports massage before will know that they are anything but comfortable. It's painful as hell, but does help in the long run. I'm just focusing on foam rolling my legs to bits in the meantime.


Monday 27th July
30 mins core abs class
6 x 10 lat pulls @ 45kg
10 x 10 press ups
10 x 10 Bulgarian Split handheld @ 15kg
10 x 10 bent arm curl @ 15kg
10 x 10 reverse lunges handheld @ 15kg
5 x 10 barbell squat @ 25kg

Tuesday 28th July
20 min treadmill run
10 x 10 sit ups
10 x 10 crunches
10 x 10 press ups
10 handstand push ups
5 x 10 barbell squat @ 25kg

Wednesday 29th July
Gait analysis (watch the video here!)

Thursday 30th July
30 mins core abs class
6 x 10 lat pulls @ 45kg
10 x 10 leg curls @ 50kg
5 x 10 barbell squat @ 25kg

Friday 31st July
Off training

Saturday 1st August
A whole day of paddle boarding at the beach - not strictly a workout but super for arms, legs and core!

Sunday 2nd August
6 x 10 sit ups
6 x 10 crunches
6 x 10 lat pulls @ 45kg
6 x 10 leg curls @ 50kg
8 x 10 barbell squat @ 25kg
6 x 15 kettlebell swings @ 16kg
