Tigi Rockaholic Livin' The Dream Daily Conditioner + Energy

7 February 2012

Another hair review for you today! I bought the Tigi Rockaholic Livin' The Dream Daily Conditioner + Energy (what a mouthful!) over Christmas for a massive bargain in TK Maxx. The Tigi hair products are always listed under my faves, and when I saw this £5 cheaper than the usual rpr, I snapped it up.

Packaging wise, the bright orange definitely gives an 'energy' type feel to the product before you've even used it. Colours aside, the bottle is easy to use with the usual heads you get on hair products. Because the head was at the bottom of the bottle, it meant there was always product ready to be used..no manic shaking the bottle in the shower to get product out..win!

The formula is a whitish yellow colour, and is quite stiff. You feel like you're getting a conditioner which means business when you squeeze this onto your hands, as it gives the impression of being quite solid. I felt like I had to use a fair bit of product when using this to get good coverage over the bottom half of my hair, but despite this it has lasted me over a month and a half which isn't too bad.

When using the word 'energy' for this conditioner, I think they mean that to the ingredients used, such as green tea, goji berries and multi-minerals. My hair didn't suddenly feel full of 'swish' and like it could 'take over the world' type energy...more that it smelt nice and felt a little nourished. It promised to repair and rehydrate, and I felt it definitely stopped my hair from getting dry.

Personally, I wouldn't use this conditioner every day, even though it calls it a 'daily conditioner'. It smells great and seemed to work relatively well, but I think I would rather use this once or twice a week for the rehydration and use something else as a daily conditioner. I would buy this product again if I saw it going for cheap in TK Maxx again or something..I don't think I'd pay the full £9.95 for it straight out. However, it was a good conditioner and if you see it going for a bargain, I'd recommend you give it a go.

  1. Thanks for the review Tasmin :)
I've never heard of this before, it's always good hearing about new products. I do really like the packaging, but i wouldn't pay the full price either to be honest. It's a bit steep considering you can get good conditioners for just a few pounds :) xx

  3. Great review - I've used this conditioner and the shampoo for a while - I agree two or three times a week is enough for this conditioner - you found a bargain there!
