Hey everyone. Hope you've had a good start to the week! Sorry my posts have been far and few in the last couple of days. It has been pretty busy here and I haven't had a chance to sit down really! But now I do, so here's my little update :) The photo above was yesterday's to do list. I have the cutest every day calendar of Jack Russell's and how sweet is the pooch swimming under water!
001. I was going to leave my school this year and move to Plymouth to find another school to teach in, but I've decided to stay another year and I'm super happy with this choice! All my fellow house staff seem really glad I'm staying, and I really am happy too. I had a meeting this morning about it all, and I know I've made the right decision :)
002. My parents are moving house and everything has been confirmed today! At first I was really sad about leaving my home as it's amazing and I love it so much, but we've found this gorgeous little converted cottage which must be about 500 years old that looks onto a field, and I can tell that it's going to be a fabulous house for my family. It's always exciting decorating a new place and putting your spin on things, so I'm now going to be going through the Laura Ashley catalogue looking for some lovely new wallpaper for behind my bed!
003. My biggest news..Sailor and I are getting a dog! We're picking him up on Saturday :) He's a Jack Russell (what else?!) called Max and he's a rescue dog. He was unfortunately abandoned in Ireland by travellers they think, but he doesn't show any signs of being hurt or abused which is brilliant. He's only one so he's going to be a little terror, but I'm experienced with Jack Russell's as I've had them all my life, and so I cannot wait! I've spent some time with him at the adoption centre he's at, walking and playing with him so he gets to know me. I just can't wait for Saturday to arrive now! Expect a whole post on him on Sunday :)
So there's a little update! I hope you've all had some good news recently. If you have, let me know! I feel there's a positivity in the air at the moment and I'm really loving how so many people seem to be doing well, getting promotions, getting engaged or married etc. What a lovely month February has turned out to be :)
