Eylure and Elegant Touch Event

13 October 2011

This is an exciting post for me, as it's about an event I went to last night. When I started blogging, I never in a million years thought I'd go to any form of blogging event, but when I had an invite out of the blue, my jaw dropped. Excited is an understatement, but throw nervous and scaredy-cat in there and you have my exact feelings. The event was Eylure and Elegant Touch, which was even more exciting as I have dabbled with Elegant Touch nails in the past (when the nails arn't looking so great!) and I am an avid fan of Eylure lashes, period.

The event was held at the gorgeous Callooh Callay bar in Shoreditch (fancy a glam drink out in East London? Head for this bar!) and myself and my trusty friend Gemma walked into a cosy intimate bar area. Eyelashes, nails and nail wraps were laid out before us everywhere. Dream?! There were lovely ladies available to apply pretty much any choice of lashes or nails of your choice. I went all out and went for some pretty garish Union Jack nails, but why the hell not! Whilst drinking cocktails and some bubbly, we chatted with some gorgeous beauty bloggers. It was just so surreal to me!

Gorgeously modelling the Union Jack nails is the beautiful Eve-Yasmine. I didn't take half as many photos as I would have liked, but meeting people and chatting keeps you busy! As I ended being the last to leave, the ladies from Eylure and Elegant Touch gave me absolute masses of lashes and nails, so keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway.

I honestly had an amazing time and am so grateful for being invited, and meeting some gorgeous lovely ladies. There are some amazing new Limited Edition collections coming out next month, and I urge you all to get excited for their release! Now I just have to look forward to the girls at school tomorrow asking where my Union Jack nails came from! Setting a great example as a teacher, definitely ;)

  2. How.Much.FUN! It's such a cool part of being a blogger, something I never expected either. I get the occasional invite but being in Malta makes it obviously impossible.

The union jack nails are pretty out there but I like them ;) look forward to seeing what goodies you got your hands on xxx
